Gorilla Forest Lodge is the current name of the A&K Sanctuary property previously listed as Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. The operator says it reopened in June 2025 following a complete redesign. Its ten standalone suites are set on a forested hillside within Bwindi's park gates, with private viewing decks and large windows that keep the canopy central to the stay.

The suites include four-poster beds and bathrooms with soaking tubs, while the lodge adds dining and spa treatments for time after trekking. This is a high-end forest base, particularly relevant to the Buhoma side of Bwindi. Gorillas have occasionally visited the grounds, but that possibility should never replace a properly booked trek or be presented as a guaranteed sighting.
